If you're ready to make the switch, then here are my two cents on Total War pre-workout.
What is Total War Pre-Workout?
Total War pre-workout is a type of dietary supplement that is taken before exercise to help improve athletic performance and increase energy levels. It's designed to provide a quick boost of energy, increase focus, and enhance endurance, allowing you to perform better during your workout.
It comes in powder form, and it's recommended to drink it dissolved in water roughly 30 minutes before you start exercising.
Who Sells Total War Pre-Workout?
Total War is produced by Redcon1, a dietary supplement company that produces a range of sports nutrition products, including pre-workout supplements, protein powders, fat burners, and more. The company was founded with the goal of producing high-quality supplements that help athletes and fitness enthusiasts achieve their goals.
Redcon1's pre-workout supplement, Total War, is one of the company's most popular products, and many users have reported positive results from using the supplement.
Ingredients
Here is a brief rundown of the Total War pre-workout ingredients and why each one is important to your workout:
Caffeine: A stimulant that helps to increase energy and alertness. Caffeine can also enhance endurance and reduce fatigue during exercise.
Beta-Alanine: An amino acid that helps to buffer lactic acid in the muscles, allowing for improved endurance and reduced muscle fatigue during exercise.
Citrulline Malate: A combination of the amino acid "citrulline" and the organic salt malate. Citrulline Malate helps to increase blood flow to the muscles and improve stamina.
Nitrosigine: A patented ingredient that helps to increase blood flow and oxygen delivery to the muscles. This can enhance muscle pumps and improve performance during exercise.
Agmatine Sulfate: An amino acid derivative that helps to increase blood flow to the muscles and improve endurance.
N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine: Another amino acid that helps to improve mental focus and reduce stress.
Choline Bitartrate: A type of choline that helps to improve cognitive function and reduce mental fatigue.
Hordenine HCl: A natural compound that helps to increase energy and improve focus.
BioPerine: A patented black pepper extract that helps to improve the absorption of other ingredients in the supplement.
It's worth noting that pre-workout supplements can have side effects, such as jitters, nausea, and increased heart rate. Additionally, individual results may vary based on factors such as body type and tolerance to caffeine. It's always important to read the label and follow the recommended serving size and talk to a doctor before starting any new supplement regimen, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or are taking any medications.
Total War Flavors
There are tons of different Total War flavors, but here are some of the most popular:
Blue Raspberry
Cotton Candy
V-Trigger
Green Apple
Pink Lemonade
Sour Gummy bear
Tropic Thunder
Vice City
War Punch
My Choice: Total War - Tiger's Blood
Out of all the flavors I've tried, I constantly find myself returning to Tiger's Blood. It's a delicious fusion of strawberry and watermelon flavors with a subtle hint of coconut. If you're new to this brand, then I highly recommend this one as the first flavor you try.
Cost of Total War Pre-Workout
On Amazon, the average cost of Total War pre-workout is roughly $34.
How does this stack up to other similar brands?
Well, I'd say it's in the mid-range. It's not quite as cheap as budget brands such as LIT or C4, but it's not as expensive as pricier makes like Gorilla.
Overall, I'd say it's worth the price considering you get high-quality ingredients and a wide variety of flavors to choose from. It's certainly better than C4, LIT, and even Ghost, and I'd say it's one of the best ones on the market.
Full Review
Total War is an excellent supplement with superb results. It's not the "strongest" stim there is, but that's probably a good thing considering anything more would be unsafe to your health.
During my experience with Total War, I've determined that it's optimal for 1-2 hour weight lifting workouts and starts to fall off any longer than that. It's also pretty good for running, though I don't notice it as much as I do during, say, the bench press.
Stamina-wise, I'd concur that it's a big step up from C4 as it provides consistently high energy levels and significantly expedited muscle recovery. Even with those prolonged, high-intensity workouts, I noticed I'd feel better throughout the day afterward than if I had not taken the pre-workout.
Overall, out of all the pre-workouts I've used, this one is definitely in my top 3.
Pros
Many different flavors
Increased performance
Improved endurance and stamina
Fast muscle recovery time
Works fast (less than 30 mins)
Quite tasty
Cons
Mid-range price
It might be too strong for beginners
Doesn't have creatine
Final Thoughts, is Total War Pre-Workout Worth it?
In my opinion, yes, Total War pre-workout is 100% worth the cost. Not only is it one of the most effective, high-quality mixes you can get, but it's widely available and comes in many different flavors.
If you've been on the fence about this one, then I highly recommend trying Total War at least once.
